hi. this weekend was chock full o' activity. thursday night - we went out and had a few drinks with the gang, made fools of ourselves on the dancefloor - and as usual, had a great time together. friday night was Crease's graduation, saturday morning was Autumn's graduation, followed by a phenomenal cookout at her family's house. then i rushed back home and rushed off to Yellow City to hang out with my soul sista, who was back in town for the weekend. we had a little fun saturday night... by breaking into one of mital's friends' house. hey, no judgie - we needed a place to hang out so i could watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (and thank you adam that movie was mentally delicious) - and also, because me n mitz needed to chill and chat. you know how we do. anyways - these friends left their backdoor unlocked and neither of the 3 boys that lived there would be back until the next night. ho diddly hum diddly hi right? that's what we thought too. so we started the movie and yes my conscience was kinda titillated but ahhhh - nothing like a big creamy spoon of apathy to quiet that shit down.
alas - we were both jumpy nonetheless - and mital was skitzin' pretty bad (her conscience being well intact and in good working order). soon enough - headlights shoot through the front windows and within one bound (and re-emphasizing her excellent SWAT Elite training from India) mital leaps off the couch and tumbles into the side of the house well out of sight. as for my poor soul that was laying on the other couch facing the front door - i was pretty much screwed. this guy's face popped into the front door's little window - and saw me basking in my criminal-juice, watching a freakin movie in an empty-ass house. apparently the boy was an acquaintance of mital's and a friend of the homeowners - and had come to do his laundry. he was much surprised to see the 2 of us in there - and of course mital (the mistress of lies) concocted a simple story to ease the boy's concerns.
"we are here to prank the house. help us prank the house, boy."
the boy was so in.
welcome to my first prank:

why...what are you doing with those disposable bowls mital? filling them with water?

by strategically placing them throughout the room - we have achieved maximum mobility restrainage.

neat huh? yeah. i took many'a'pictures of it - because it was quite beautiful.

oh yes - i also got to meet up with my friend Ty - and the three of us enjoyed some Starbucks this morning. what a great time we had... everything that i loved, admired, and respected about Ty resurfaced within our short time together. Ty was there for me during those grueling graphic design projects and the ups and downs of college life. and happens to be one of the only friends i'm close to that i could grow spiritually with (next to mital of course). i know i'm going to be friends with this girl...well...forever. cheers to you Ty!

and of course - i couldn't end this post without the sunshiney facey faces of me and my soul sista. =) Happy Mother's Day all.

ps. i really missed autumn, jeremy, crease, adam, and alma the entire time. next time come with me, HOES!
